Gracias al lat\u00edn, accedi\u00f3 a los escritos de los pensadores que hab\u00edan contribuido al gran renacimiento del saber en el siglo anterior, y, muy pronto, a su mente de hombre l\u00facido le pareci\u00f3 ya imposible respetar los l\u00edmites de la ortodoxia que le impon\u00eda la comunidad jud\u00eda a la que pertenec\u00eda. \u201cEl m\u00e1s grave error de la teolog\u00eda\u201d, escrib\u00eda, \u201ces el haber desatendido y ocultado la diferencia entre obedecer y conocer, el de hacernos tomar los principios de obediencia por modelos de conocimiento\u201d.Naturalmente, quien as\u00ed piensa, ayer como hoy, h\u00e1blese de teolog\u00eda o de cualquier doctrina o ideolog\u00eda, acaba teniendo que elegir el aislamiento, sin honores ni c\u00e1tedras.La obra de Spinoza no es voluminosa, pero s\u00ed profundamente perturbadora. Como dice Deleuze, \u201cun libro explosivo, nunca pierde su carga explosiva\u201d.
