La pregunta que se plantea es: \u00bfY si los supervivientes de civilizaciones tan misteriosas como la Atl\u00e1ntida, Lemuria, Hiperb\u00f3rea, Osiria o Thule, despu\u00e9s del cataclismo que hundi\u00f3 sus continentes, se hubieran visto obligados a crear una red de t\u00faneles y pasadizos subterr\u00e1neos en Egipto hasta alcanzar el centro de la Tierra y establecerse all\u00ed de nuevo? \u00bfY si las leyendas de Agartha y su capital, Shambhala, y la tierra hueca, estuvieran estrechamente ligadas a los continentes perdidos? Independientemente de la fantas\u00eda que rodea y teje los hechos, los datos principales sobre los que gira la trama, son supuestos y conjeturas que est\u00e1n ah\u00ed, para quien quiera creer y reflexionar sobre ellas. Teor\u00edas tan atractivas como que las Islas Canarias, Cabo Verde, las Antillas, Madeira o las Islas Azores son las cordilleras m\u00e1s altas de la Atl\u00e1ntida que, inevitablemente, quedaron a la vista tras el hundimiento. Otro tanto ocurre con la Isla de Pascua, Haw\u00e1i, la Polinesia, la Micronesia o Jap\u00f3n, reminiscencias de lo que un d\u00eda fue la grandiosa Lemuria. Que los supervivientes de la Atl\u00e1ntida huyeron a Am\u00e9rica, Francia y Espa\u00f1a y que, antes de que nos conquistaran los celtas o los romanos, en toda la Pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica se hablaba la lengua vern\u00e1cula de los atlantes.
