Solo dej\u00f3 clara la base sobre la cual se inventar\u00edan las m\u00e1s horrorosas historias. Esta idea central era que antes de que apareciera el hombre la Tierra hab\u00eda tenido otros amos. A esta idea aluden determinados libros \u201caborrecibles\u201d, ciertos grabados \u201cabominables\u201d y algunas esculturas \u201csacr\u00edlegas\u201d.
