Al leerla descubre que su omnipresente e inaccesible padre tuvo un hijo con una tal Anne Ernst. Pero no ser\u00e1 hasta a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde cuando sienta la necesidad de saber lo que ocurri\u00f3 con ese medio hermano. Es entonces cuando empieza una b\u00fasqueda que le llevar\u00e1 toda una vida. En numerosas entrevistas, el reconocido compositor, m\u00fasico, poeta y novelista Chico Buarque ha hablado acerca del &#8216;hermano alem\u00e1n&#8217; que nunca logr\u00f3 localizar. A partir de la memoria biogr\u00e1fica y la historia familiar, Chico Buarque reconstruye, entrelazando realidad y ficci\u00f3n, una novela sobre la b\u00fasqueda obsesiva de un hermano desconocido, cimentada en la tensi\u00f3n permanente entre lo que fue, lo que podr\u00eda haber sido y la pura fantas\u00eda.
