Y qu\u00e9 mejor forma para hacerlo que leer los relatos y las tradiciones que sobre ellos nos han llegado a lo largo de la historia y del folclore. El lector podr\u00e1 ir viendo y comprobando en cada una de sus paginas: que existen varias familias de enanos (los mineros y los pertenecientes al Pueblo Antiguo), que los gnomos Ib\u00e9ricos no siempre se parecen a David el Gnomo, que existen inteligentes luces \u00e9lficas por toda la geograf\u00eda espa\u00f1ola, que a\u00fan perduran leyendas sobre hombres marinos y tritones, que una raza de seres diminutos recorre el subsuelo espa\u00f1ol, que muchos de los humanoides estudiados por la ufolog\u00eda se parecen sospechosamente a los gnomos de las leyendas, que algunas nubes las forman seres demon\u00edacos dispuestos a descargar la tormenta en el pueblo que mejor les pille, que se encuentran aut\u00e9nticos tesoros encantados custodiados por monjes sobrenaturales, que hay personajes cuyo verdadero nombre inspiraba tal temor que se les llamaba de otras mil maneras, que unos enigm\u00e1ticos e invisibles se\u00f1ores del bosque est\u00e1n dispuestos a proteger los \u00e1rboles y los animales, que los s\u00e1tiros de la mitolog\u00eda cl\u00e1sica tienen su correspondencia con algunos s\u00e1tiros de nuestro folclore, que todav\u00eda se utilizan ciertos conjuros para alejar a los perversos nuberos y tronantes, que algunos seres mitol\u00f3gicos han sido inventados de cabo a rabo\u2026 y otras sorpresas m\u00e1s.
