En ellos puso en di\u00e1logo ideas procedentes de la hermen\u00e9utica (Dilthey y el primer Heidegger) y del pensamiento cr\u00edtico (Marx, Korsch y Luk\u00e1cs).El objetivo de Marcuse en esta original y arriesgada empresa fue repensar las bases filos\u00f3ficas de la teor\u00eda social de matriz marxista, para devolverle un alcance cr\u00edtico devaluado por el marxismo ortodoxo y por los diversos revisionismos dominantes en su \u00e9poca.El resultado es una aportaci\u00f3n a la teor\u00eda social que anticipa importantes aspectos de la teor\u00eda cr\u00edtica de la sociedad desarrollada por Horkheimer y por el propio Marcuse en Nueva York en los a\u00f1os 30. Pero, al mismo tiempo, estos textos escritos por el que fue asistente de M. Heidegger en Friburgo, testifican la permanencia de los problemas heideggerianos como las tensiones que provocaron en su proyecto de renovaci\u00f3n cr\u00edtica de la teor\u00eda de la sociedad.Jos\u00e9 Manuel Romero Cuevas es investigador del Programa Ram\u00f3n y Cajal en la Universidad de Alcal\u00e1. Entre otros libros, es autor de Cr\u00edtica e historicidad (2010) y editor de H.
