Pellejero de profesi\u00f3n, habitualde los bajos fondos de la ciudad, devoto del orujo, de las timbas y de losprost\u00ed\u00adbulos, su muerte fue tan sonada que pronto se cre\u00f3 una cofrad\u00edaintegrada por poetas y bohemios de la noche y dedicada a honrar su memoria. El entierro de Genar\u00edn es lacr\u00f3nica de esta leyenda, el evangelio ap\u00f3crifo en el que se relatan la vida ylos milagros del c\u00e9lebre pelle\u00adjero, el ir\u00f3nico homenaje a un vividor que se haconvertido al pasar del tiempo en el santo de los borrachos y los bohemios.
