En el Baj\u00edo personal de Jorge Ibarg\u00fcengoitia se fragua, con torpeza y empuje incontenible cifrados en un enorme ca\u00f1\u00f3n, la Independencia de M\u00e9xico. Desde el encuentro casual del cura de Ajetreo y el eminente Mat\u00edas Chand\u00f3n hasta el d\u00eda en que el primero resuelve firmar su abjuraci\u00f3n poniendo al calce \u00abL\u00f3pez\u00bb, transcurre una de las novelas m\u00e1s finas de Ibarg\u00fcengoitia. En ella se encarga (sin segundas intenciones) de desmitificar la gesta heroica de la Independencia hasta dejarla en Los pasos de L\u00f3pez; y esta reducci\u00f3n al anonimato de uno de los episodios fundamentales de la historia patria lo transforma, con la gracia que anida en lo natural inesperado, en la aventura de una conspiraci\u00f3n (comedia de errores con final m\u00e1s o menos feliz) emprendida por un pu\u00f1ado de personajes con m\u00e1s carne y m\u00e1s huesos que los h\u00e9roes y que impremeditadamente desencadenan las fuerzas de la historia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
