Apoyado ahora por Alfaguara Venezuela, la nueva propuesta de S\u00e1nchez Rugeles circula sin pudor ni mesura entre la novela negra y el film noir, la telenovela y la parodia. El resultado de este pastiche es un texto enrevesado e interesante que desafortunadamente va perdiendo sustancia con el paso de las p\u00e1ginas. En el fondo, Transilvania unplugged se reduce a un relato de viaje en el que todo termina funestamente mal. Emilio y Jos\u00e9 Antonio (Josep Antoniu, en rumano), buscan un escape a sus respectivas miserias venezolanas en una aventura sin sentido. Emilio, cocinero, consigue una beca para dictar cursos de cocina en la zona transilvana, aprovechando que Sibiu est\u00e1 a punto de convertirse en la capital cultural de Europa.
