{"id":24513,"date":"2026-10-24T02:34:04","date_gmt":"2026-10-24T05:34:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.mundoebook.cl\/?post_type=product&#038;p=24513"},"modified":"2026-10-30T15:54:21","modified_gmt":"2026-10-30T18:54:21","slug":"gabriel-revisitado","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/wp.mundoebook.cl\/?product=gabriel-revisitado","title":{"rendered":"Gabriel revisitado"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El argumento de GABRIEL no puede ser m\u00e1s sencillo; un cient\u00edfico, arropado por una gran corporaci\u00f3n, desarrolla y construye un robot inteligente, desprovisto de las tres leyes (de la rob\u00f3tica) e indistinguible a primera vista de un ser humano, tanto, que la corporaci\u00f3n (el dinero es cobarde) ante las posibles consecuencias que esto pueda traer, ordena desconectarlo, pero Gabriel, que para eso es inteligente, consigue burlar a sus creadores, huyendo del centro de investigaci\u00f3n y lanz\u00e1ndose a conquistar el mundo como cualquier otro joven emancipado. Hasta aqu\u00ed nada que ya se hubiera visto ya, una nueva reescrituta de los mitos del Golem o el monstruo de Frankensetin, sin embargo, en esta ocasi\u00f3n Domingo Santos va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la simple mu\u00f1eco asustado e inocente, cuyo interactuar con la humanidad, a causa del p\u00e1nico o ciega determinaci\u00f3n de unos y otros, acaba en tragedia. En esta ocasi\u00f3n Gabriel demuestra que el genio humano ha conseguido de nuevo sus prop\u00f3sitos y ha construido un ser en verdad inteligente, Gabriel no va por ah\u00ed destruyendo indiscriminadamente bienes inmuebles, asustando viejas o dej\u00e1ndose embaucar por jovencitas imp\u00faberes, Gabriel se sumerge en la masa humana ayud\u00e1ndose de sus capacidades como m\u00e1quina para mimetizarse en ella, pasando desapercibido, dejando apenas rastros y burlando el cerco con el que se pretende capturarle. Es \u00e9sta primera parte de la novela la que presenta m\u00e1s inter\u00e9s y resulta de mejor factura, el miedo de la Industrial Robotics a dar una mala imagen, la figura de Gabriel Villalcazar como investigador entregado a su trabajo, la de Rolf van Ripple en el papel de cient\u00edfico alejado de los laboratorios y vendido a la burocracia y el propio Gabriel busc\u00e1ndose la vida, constituyen un relato \u00e1gil sobre la creaci\u00f3n de la vida inteligente y las consecuencias de ello. Sin embargo, en su huida Gabriel opta por viajar a la Luna, en proceso de independencia de la Tierra, y aunque la intensidad del relato no decae y Domingo Santos aporta una buena cantidad de episodios emotivos y\/o emocionantes, ya no resulta tan \u00e1gil y fresca como el arranque de la novela. Los conflictos independentistas entre la Tierra y la Luna, independientemente de las andanzas de Gabriel por el sat\u00e9lite, no terminan de convencer, y la intervenci\u00f3n de Gabriel en ellos, pese a presentarse como destino ineludible para la m\u00e1quina, tampoco terminan de quedar demasiado claras. No conozco la primera versi\u00f3n de Gabriel, as\u00ed que no puedo compararla con \u00e9sta, pero personalmente hubiera preferido otra forma de que Gabriel y la humanidad resolvieran su conflicto paterno-filial.
