Buck. En efecto, la acci\u00f3n de Retrato de un matrimonio no se desarrolla en el continente asi\u00e1tico, sino en los Estados Unidos. El matrimonio cuyo retrato pinta la autora est\u00e1 formado por una pareja de granjeros \u2014\u00e9l, un esp\u00edritu inquieto y so\u00f1ador; ella, apegada a la tierra\u2014 que busca el camino de la mutua comprensi\u00f3n, a pesar de que el car\u00e1cter y el pasado de ambos son fundamentalmente distintos. Como siempre la ilustre autora hace un detenido estudio de los personajes y una exhaustiva descripci\u00f3n de lugares y ambientes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pearl S.
