Estas palabras de Frank Kafka ahorrar\u00edan cualquier comentario sobre la obra de August Strindberg si no fuera porque todo lo dicho por el autor checo encuentra una confirmaci\u00f3n deslumbrante y certera en El hijo de la sierva, novela autobiogr\u00e1fica que cubre los a\u00f1os de infancia y adolescencia del futuro autor de Infierno y Alegato de un loco. Ciertamente existe, en El hijo de la sierva, una voluntad demoledora y un ataque sin paliativos contra el orden familiar y la hipocres\u00eda social.
