EL MITO DEL ETERNO RETORNO es una original introducci\u00f3n a la Filosof\u00eda de la Historia cuyo objeto de estudio son los mitos y creencias de las sociedades tradicionales, movidas por la nostalgia del regreso a los or\u00edgenes y rebeldes contra el tiempo concreto. Las categor\u00edas en que se expresa esa negaci\u00f3n de la historia son los arquetipos y la repetici\u00f3n, instrumentos necesarios para rechazar las secuencias lineales y la idea de progreso.
