Una joven profesora de qu\u00edmica del mismo preuniversitario donde a\u00f1os atr\u00e1s estudi\u00f3 el Conde ha aparecido asesinada en su apartamento, en el que aparecen adem\u00e1s restos de marihuana. As\u00ed, al investigar la vida de la profesora, de impoluto expediente acad\u00e9mico y pol\u00edtico, el Conde entra en un mundo en descomposici\u00f3n, donde el arribismo, el tr\u00e1fico de influencias, el consumo de drogas y el fraude revelan el lado oscuro de la sociedad cubana contempor\u00e1nea.
