Esto se debe, en gran medida, a que el anarquismo ha estado siempre m\u00e1s interesado por la pr\u00e1ctica que por grandes disquisiciones te\u00f3ricas. No ha sido nunca la pretensi\u00f3n del anarquismo adelantar un modelo futuro a aplicar, pero s\u00ed ser fiel en los medios a los fines perseguidos, de ah\u00ed la indiscutible influencia de las ideas libertarias en las pr\u00e1cticas y modos de organizaci\u00f3n de los movimientos cr\u00edticos con la globalizaci\u00f3n capitalista.Al anarquismo siempre se le ha acusado de falta de solidez te\u00f3rica; a lo que David Graeber responde: \u00abM\u00e1s que una Gran Teor\u00eda, podr\u00edamos decir que lo que le falta al anarquismo es una Base Te\u00f3rica: un mecanismo para confrontar los problemas reales e inmediatos que emergen de todo proyecto de transformaci\u00f3n\u00bb. As\u00ed que el prop\u00f3sito del presente ensayo no es otro que el de dar respuesta a la pregunta: \u00ab\u00bfqu\u00e9 tipo de teor\u00eda social puede ser realmente de inter\u00e9s para qui\u00e9nes intentamos crear un mundo en el cual la gente sea libre para administrar sus propios asuntos?\u00bb.La antropolog\u00eda ha tenido siempre una cierta afinidad con el anarquismo \u2014con el que tuvo lazos m\u00e1s o menos estrechos a principios del siglo XX\u2014, puesto que \u00ablos antrop\u00f3logos son el \u00fanico grupo de cient\u00edficos sociales que conocen las sociedades sin Estado que existen en la actualidad; muchos han vivido en zonas del mundo donde los Estados han dejado de funcionar o al menos han desaparecido temporalmente y donde la gente se organiza de forma aut\u00f3noma\u00bb.
