A lo largo de los cincuenta y cuatro memoriales de Fern\u00e1ndez de Quir\u00f3s se obtiene un retrato perfecto del visionario buscador de nuevos mundos, el precursor del descubrimiento de la Ant\u00e1rtida, lo que \u00e9l llamaba Tierras o Indias Australes.
