La misi\u00f3n de los guardianes consiste en utilizarlo sabiamente e impedir la huida de las almas negras que habitan la trama.Desgraciadamente el n\u00famero de guardianes es \u00ednfimo y su capacidad para custodiar el tapiz se debilita con el transcurso del tiempo. Su \u00fanica esperanza para contener el mal se centra en Jonathan, un joven con extra\u00f1os poderes m\u00e1gicos.
